Nick, an upper school English teacher, has been using graphs and charts and geometric shapes to explore characters, themes, and style in literature. He will share the impetus for such projects, techniques he has used, and the evolution of the work, as well as some examples from students. Participants will design and create "graphic poems" to explore how making and creating aid and expand understanding another author's text. Capacity: 10
