This course will focus on an eight-week maker project in Quay's classroom focused on natural disasters and the math concept of area. Participants will watch four short videos of structures surviving natural disasters. Then, all will participate in a short comparative area lesson. In a design challenge, we will make a structure that will be tested by a participant-created natural disaster. Capacity: 10
