Workshop facilitator Falon will show attendees how to use Pinterest, their own personal passions, and their students' interest to generate high impact, low prep Makerspace projects for students. Drawing from her own experiences creating a classroom Makerspace, she will guide participants in designing a high-quality Makerspace in their very own classrooms with everyday household/school materials. The workshop will have rotating stations where attendees will be able to (1) Design a mini-Makerspace project using Pinterest; (2) Align projects with appropriate and engaging text(s); and (3) Build an exemplar to take back to their classrooms to jump-start their next Makerspace project. Capacity: 10
